One of Australia’s first professional designers, Richard Haughton James shared Boyd’s commitment to the belief that good design could improve and enrich people’s lives. The house that Boyd designed for James in 1956 has a unique semi-elliptical or ‘eye-shaped’ ground floor plan, indicating Boyd’s awareness of the hemicycle houses developed by American architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
Ticket includes admission to the house for 30 minutes (8 sessions available).
