Tour / Visit Featherston House, Macgeorge House and Waller House

MELBOURNE / 23-24 MARCH

Saturday 23 & Sunday 24 March

Open House / Open Floodplain offers a rare glimpse into the creative households of the Featherstons (Robin Boyd, 1969), the Wallers (1922) and the Macgeorges (Harold Desbrowe-Annear, 1910), where arts and crafts and bush modernism meet the floodplain. Explore art and architecture while experiencing the shared position of these unique dwellings across the Darebin floodplain and catchment, a site of significant ecological and cultural value.

Open House / Open Floodplain is a collaboration between the Robin Boyd Foundation, Urban Ecology and Design Lab (UEDLAB) / Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne, and the National Trust (Victoria).

Our Open Days underpin our mission to further the legacy of Robin Boyd by offering access for the public to explore and understand architectural projects of outstanding merit.

This event is taking place on Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Country.
