How can the unpleasant, the unkempt, the unloved and the unintended be accounted for as meaningful tangible and intangible evidence of the past, alongside more readily likeable works of architecture, natural landscapes or intact historic urban precincts?
“Dubious Heritage” brings together local and international academics and practitioners including Tim Edensor(Manchester Metropolitan and University of Melbourne) and John Schofield (University of York).
We will also celebrate the book launch of Participatory Culture and the Social Value of an Architectural icon: Sydney Opera House.
