European Symposium: inhabiting modernity, Dunkirk, 11-12 September 2025

To explore further the topics covered in the exhibition Inhabiting Modernity in Dunkirk (visible at the Halle aux sucres from April 26 to September 13, 2025), the symposium features academic contributions, public talks, panel discussions, guided tours of both the city and the exhibition. It seeks to shed light on the shared challenges of post-war reconstruction and offers a platform for a range of European cities to share their expertise and experience.

See you on 11 and 12 September at the Dunkirk Sugar Hall for the European symposium “Habiter la Modernité”, organised by the heritage mission of the City of Dunkirk, in partnership with Docomomo France.
