Robin Boyd’s seminal Walsh Street house provides a fitting stage to elevate and celebrate the work of some of Australia’s most important design practitioners. The whole house will be activated in this ‘design within a design’ installation.
In this year where we celebrate 100 years of Robin Boyd, curator Ian Wong pays homage to Boyd’s legacy and his commitment to the promotion of Australian Design, by bringing together 100 iconic, delightful and sometimes surprising nuggets of our incredible design history.
Join us this evening to hear directly from Ian as to the importance of his collection and curation and why showcasing industrial design for household goods is important to be seen in context.
