When: Mon, 3 Jul 2023 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM ACST
Where: ODASA 28 Leigh Street #1 Adelaide, SA 5000 Australia
Sadly architect Peter Muller passed away earlier this year. Not only was he a globally recognised Australian architect, but was also originally from Adelaide. Over the past few years, we have been involved in researching and writing about his illustrious career. And more recently, we have been working to get some of his local architectural works on the heritage register.
In order to commemorate his life and architectural works we are organising a small lunch time talk event. 3 July was Muller’s birthday, and it seemed appropriate to hold a small remembrance ceremony on the day. So, we are partnering with the Architecture Museum and the State Library of NSW to organise a small event. The event will be held at the ODASA Forum on 28 Leight Street in the city on Monday 3 July from 12 to 1 pm.
We will be talking about Muller’s local and international work, and the effort being done to preserve his legacy. And we hope to highlight the career of Australia’s First Master of Architecture and Fulbright Scholar.
The event titled : Celebrating Peter Muller (1927-2023) will be held on : Monday, 03 July 2023, from 12pm to 1pm at the : ODASA Forum, 28 Leigh St., Adelaide, SA 5000
with presentations by:
Dr. James Curry, Director, Architecture Museum
Dr. Amit Srivastava, Director, CAMEA & CARL
Anna Corkhill, Architecture Curator, SLNSW
Please join us for this celebration of architecture (and feel free to bring your lunch along).
