Program of the Heide Museum Exhibition: Robin Boyd Design Legend (open until 27 October 2019)
One of the last projects completed by Boyd, the Hegarty House exemplifies his credentials as an environmentalist. Designed as a series of stepped platforms on a steep hill and built primarily of brick and timber with north-facing windows, the house ‘touches the ground lightly’, pre-empting the work of later Australian architects.
Ticket includes admission to the house for 30 minutes (8 sessions available).
