Wednesday 11 Nov 2020 12pm – 1pm
Queensland School of Architecture Research Zoom Room
Australian Centre for Architectural History, Urban and Cultural Heritage
Ahead of the release of his book Le Corbusier in the Antipodes: Art, Architecture and Urbanism (January 2021), Associate Professor Antony Moulis, will outline the genesis of the project and the research opportunities that have underpinned it. After the presentation, a panel will reflect with the author on the book’s approach, which reconsiders the ways that the architectural work of ‘modern masters’ was received outside Europe – a framework which opens up critical new research paths and methodological inquiry into cultural transfer.

Panel: Associate Professor Antony Moulis, Dr Manu P. Sobti, and Dr Macarena de La Vega de Leon (ACAHUCH Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Melbourne School of Design)
