ARM Architecture have announced the appointment through their website:

“ARM Architecture is honoured to have been selected by Sydney Opera House as the successful lead consultant to develop concept and schematic designs for the upgrade of the Opera House’s largest venue, the Concert Hall. The upgrade has been identified as a priority project in the first stage of the Opera House’s Decade of Renewal, which commenced at its 40th Anniversary in 2013.”

Docomomo Australia has written to the Opera House management advocating for a sensitive and respectful approach to the new works in light of the site’s international heritage and architectural significance.
